Direct Thermal Coatings

DIRECT THERMAL	grade	features/ description

Primer Coat	DT 8913	This Primer Coating should be used under any of the active coatings to offer a smoother surface or to increase the adhesion on difficult substrates

Activator Coat	DT 8957	This is our workhorse coating and has excellent image density. It can be used as a basecoat under our #8952 or as a standalone coating
	DT 9095	This is similar to our #8957, but with higher solids for better performance on offset presses.
	DT 9125	This product offers better water and scuff resistance when used as a standalone coating.
	DT 9144	This product should be used when a higher image density is needed versus our standard #8957.
	DT 9242	Translucent direct thermal coating.

Top Coat	DT 8952	This is our suggested top coat to apply over activator coatings when increased water, grease, soap, and scuff resistance is required. Accepts most offset inks.
